5. Specify a name for the task.
The name is case sensitive and can include 32 characters. Allowed characters
include letters, numbers, hyphens, underscores, and spaces.
6. Click Create Task.
The Tasks panel is updated and task information is displayed in the Task Details
panel.
If an installed license enables this feature, you can copy a snapshot or a master
volume to a new standard volume. The destination volume must be in a virtual disk
owned by the same controller as the source volume.
To create a task to copy a volume:
1. Select Manage > Scheduler > Manage Scheduler.
2. In the Tasks panel click Add New Task.
The Create Task panel is displayed.
3. Select Volume Copy.
4. Select a snapshot or master volume to copy.
5. Select a destination virtual disk for the copy.
6. Specify a prefix to identify volumes created by this task.
The prefix is case sensitive and can include 14 characters, but not comma, quotation
mark ("), or backslash.
Automatically created volumes are named
increments from 0001 to 9999 before rolling over.
7. Select whether to include or exclude modified write data from the snapshot in the
copy.
The default is Exclude.
