Adjusting Print Head Height to Match Media Thickness

Move firmly, until it stops.
Press
to go back to the original screen.
Description
Depending on the media, media may wrinkle or come loose from the platen during printing, increasing the
chance of contact with the print heads. When using such media, adjust the print head height to "HIGH."
Setting the print head height to "HIGH" may affect printing results, for example by producing coarser printing
results than when "LOW" is set. If this happens, refer to the pages indicated below.

When the screen on the left is displayed, open the front
cover.
Move the height-adjustment lever to adjust
the head height.
When the lever is moved to the [High] direction, the
buzzer sounds twice. When it is moved to the [Low]
High
direction, the buzzer sounds once.
Low
Close the front cover.
The print-head carriage moves to the original position, and then the
screen shown on the left appears.
