Maintenance that Should Be Performed Every Six Months

Refreshing Subtanks (REFRESH SUBTANK)

Refresh the subtanks once every six months to resolve issues with ink component precipitating in the sub-
tanks. If this procedure is not performed once every six months, print quality may be adversely affected, e.g.
printed colors may be uneven.
This operation is effective when light choke cleaning does not resolve uneven color issues.
Refreshing the subtank consumes more ink than light choke cleaning, and places a strain on the print
heads. Undertake this procedure with caution if performing more than once every six months.
