Specifying the Original Size and the Copy
Size

Press the ORIGINAL-SIZE
same size as the original to be copied.

Press the desired COPY-SIZE
G If the desired size of paper is not in any
of the cassettes installed, the following
message will appear:
Set correct size
cassette
Install the correct-sized cassette.
G The copier will calculate the correct
reproduction ratio based on the selected
original size and copy size and show it on
the Message Display panel.

Set the original(s).
G Place the original face down on the glass
and align it to the original scale on the left.
G The "copy area" indicated by the three
indicators signifies the area of the original
to be enlarged or reduced.
4 4 4 4 4
Close the automatic document feeder
slowly.
G Do not push down hard on it when copying
a thick original such as a book, etc.
