Placing your fingers on both sides of the
stapling unit, pull it out until it comes to
a stop.

Holding the stapling unit with your fingers
as shown, pull to raise it upright.

While pushing down the green stopper
with your thumb, pinch the metal handle
with your index finger and pull it slowly
toward you to open the staple cover.

Remove all jammed staples.
