1. DESCRIPTION OF THE SORTERS

As optional sorters, five models, the MG-2009, MG-2010, MG-2012, MG-1003A, and MG-1004
are available. They are 10-bin and 20-bin sorters and, MG-1004, MG-2010 and MG-2012 are
equipped with a stapling function.

Note:
When the bin unit of the optional sorter MG-2009 (this model only) is left in a
raised position (after sort or group copying), one of the following actions will
cause the bin unit to move down to its home position automatically:
G Turning on the power switch;
G Pressing the FUNCTION CLEAR
G Pressing the SORTER key;
G Changing the copy quantity entered.
Caution:
Do not touch the bin unit of the sorter while it is moving upward or downward.
