7. SORTER MISFEED
When a paper misfeed occurs in the optional
sorter, the SORTER MISFEED
flashes and this message appears:
PAPER MISFEED
IN SORTER
Remove the paper as described below.
Paper Misfeeding in the Sorter MG-2009 (Optinal)

Check the sorter bins and remove any
misfed paper.
G If an automatic duplexer is installed, your
sorter slides away from the copier. Pull
the sorter away from the copier for easier
access.

Open the upper unit and remove any
misfed paper from inside the copier.

G For removing misfed paper, refer to "
Misfeeding around the Fuser Unit" on
page 132.

Close the upper unit and the front cover.
G See page 119 for closing the upper unit.
G If you pulled the sorter away from the
copier, push it fully back to the copier.
