11. BYPASS AUTO STARTING

Normally, when copying on special medium such as thick paper (81~130 g/m
OHP film or gum label, you insert one sheet at a time through the bypass guide and press the
PRINT
key for each copy. If the AUTO START mode is selected, you just insert a sheet
fully and copying will automatically start.

Press the PROGRAM key on the BASIC
panel to display the PROGRAM menu on
the right.

Press the AUTO START key.
G The AUTO START mode is selected and
shown shaded.

Make copies in the bypass mode.
G Align the side guides to the size of the
original, then insert the originals one by
one. The copying will automatically start.
You can make any number of copies one
by one.
G For bypass copying, see page 34.
G After copying has finished, the
FUNCTION CLEAR
flashes; if you press the FUNCTION
CLEAR
seconds elapses, this lamp will go out
and the BYPASS AUTO START mode
will automatically be cleared, returning to
the default state.
