10) Enable paper out sensor

(c) Function:
• This command enables the printer function which detects whether less than about
1 inch of paper remains. Upon detection, the alarm lamp is lit and the printer is
deselected.
• Manual paper override.
• Bottom margin:
Rear Feed

• Paper out detector can also be enabled by MENU.
• Manual Paper Out Override
1) While the paper end lamp is on, if the SEL switch is depressed, 1 line of data
is printed, and line feed is followed. (Paper override) during a process of 1
line data, select mode returns.
2) Paper override function is effective after paper-end is turned on till the next
TOF position. Paper override function becomes invalid when it reaches TOF
position.
3) After override function is processed to TOF position, paper is reset at TOF
position. When SEL switch is depressed, data is normally printed from TOF
position.
4) When SEL switch is depressed after paper is reset (paper end switch off), the
following states return and the printer is in the select mode:
SEL lamp light on.
Paper lamp light off.
I/F becomes select (receivable) state.
5) During the process of paper override, if continuous line feed exceeding TOF
position is input, line feed is proceeded till TOF position, the remaining amount
of line feed is held until new paper is installed and executed.
6) Unprinted data will be saved in the buffer and printed after paper is replaced
and the SEL switch is depressed.
11) Disable paper-out sensor

This command disables the paper out detecting function.
(d) Additional details:
• Paper out detector can also be disabled by MENU.
• Printer prints up to TOF, then stops print and Paper End Signal is ON.
