Vertical Control

1) Set 1/8 inch fixed line spacing
(a) Code: ESC 0
(b) Compatibility: EPSON LQ/IBM
(c) Function:
The line spacing is set to 1/8".
(d) Additional details:
• This command remains in effect until a new line spacing command is sent to the
printer.
• This command does not set the top of form position.
(e) Related functions:
• LF or CR (and condition of Auto LF is on) executes 1/8" LF.
2) Set 7/72 inch fixed line spacing
(a) Code: ESC 1
(b) Compatibility: IBM
(c) Function:
Line spacing will be set to 7/72" upon receipt of this command.
(d) Additional details:
• This command remains in effect until a new line spacing command is sent to the
printer.
• This command is used to set line spacing for graphics printing.
3) Start line spacing
(a) Code: ESC 2
(b) Compatibility: IBM
(c) Function:
• Line spacing value which is set by ESC A n will be activated when ESC 2 is sent.
• The line spacing set by Menu is selected if it has not been stored by ESC A n.
4) Set 1/6 inch line spacing
(a) Code: ESC 2
(b) Compatibility: EPSON LQ
(c) Function:
The line spacing is set to 1/6".
(d) Additional details:
• This command remains in effect until a new line spacing command is sent to the
printer.
• This command does not set the top of form position.
(e) Related functions:
• LF or CR (and condition of Auto LF is on) executes 1/6" LF.
