Special function 1

Increasing the final rinse
temperature
If you alter the final rinse
temperature, make a note of the new
temperature in the appropriate
column of the Programme chart.
The final rinse temperature factory
setting is listed in the programme chart.
You can use Special function 1 to
increase the final rinse temperature
from 65 °C to 85 °C.
If a final rinse temperature of 85 °C
has been set, the drying fan will
switch on when the temperature
reaches 65 °C to dissipate the steam.
The drying fan will continue to run
for 45 minutes after the programme
has finished.
We recommend programming a final
rinse temperature of 65 °C for cleaning
dirty crockery.
The final rinse temperature cannot be
altered in the o (GLASSWARE) or the ,
(BEER GLASSES) programme.
It is not possible to alter the final
rinse temperature while a
programme is running. You will have
to cancel the programme first. The
h/f indicator light must be
flashing.
^ Switch the dishwasher off with the
On/Off button I-0.
^ Press the +c and h/f buttons in
and whilst holding them in switch
the dishwasher on with the On/Off
button I-0.
Programming special functions
Then release these buttons.
The "Main wash/Rinses" l indicator
light will come on and the "Salt" k
indicator light will flash.
The set water hardness will then appear
in the Time left display.
^ Press the +c button twice.
The 1 indicator light will come on to
show that you are in programming level.
The y indicator light will come on or
will flash to show that you are in Special
programme 1.
The k indicator light will flash.
Special function 1 "final rinse
temperature increased" is selected and
will be shown in the display in double
digits.

OFF.
The y indicator will flash
(final rinse temperature 65 °C).

Final rinse temperature increased
ON.
The y indicator will light up.
(final rinse temperature 85 °C).
The first figure is the number of the
Special function. The second figure
shows whether or not the function is
activated.
You can now use the +c button to
switch the function on or off.
You can use the %$ programme
selector buttons to select either
Special function 1 or Special function
2. (10 or 11 to 20 or 21 in the display)
