Recording a Live Program

ECORDING A
To record the rest of the program you are watching, PRESS the record button on your
remote control. You can press the RECORD button again at any time during the current
recording and follow the on-screen instructions if you want to extend the end of the
recording past the scheduled end time listed on your Program Guide.
To stop a recording you are watching, press the STOP button on your remote control. A
pop-up screen will ask you to confirm you want to stop recording the current program.
Select Yes to stop the recording now, or No to continue recording.
If all system tuners are in use when you request a new recording, you will see the TV
Viewing Status screen (as shown on page 35). From this screen you can decide to watch
the same content as one of the other tuners, order a DISH On Demand program or event,
or play back a previously recorded program from your Hopper with Sling HD DVR's My
Recordings list, including (if you enabled the feature) any PrimeTime Anytime™ shows
you have recorded.
Note: Programs or events recorded in high definition, such as those recorded with the
PrimeTime Anytime feature, require as much as six times more storage space than
programs recorded in standard definition.

LAYING A
To play a program or event recorded on your Hopper with Sling HD DVR, do the following:

Press the DVR button on your remote control to display the My Recordings screen.

Highlight a tile for a program (or a folder of programs, if applicable). If you want to watch
the program (or the latest recording in a folder of programs), then press the PLAY button.
If you want to see more options, press the SELECT button to display a pop-up menu.

Start Over. Watch this recording from the beginning. If you have previously played a
part of the show, you can also select Resume to watch the rest of the program.
Edit. You can move the recording to a folder or protect it from automatic erasure.
Delete. Delete this recording from the DVR. This does not delete the associated timer.
More Info. Display the full Information screen about this program or event.

played a part of it, you can also select Resume to watch the rest of the program.
