recordings will begin during the next applicable nightly interval and gradually populate the
folder, day-by-day. Enable the feature at least 20 minutes in advance of prime time hours.
Disabling the PrimeTime Anytime™ feature
To disable the PrimeTime Anytime™ feature after it has been enabled, do the following:
1
Press the MENU button on your DISH remote control, highlight the Settings tile on the
Main Menu screen and press SELECT.
2
Highlight and select DVR Defaults and then select PrimeTime Anytime.
3
Select the Do Not Enable option to turn off the feature, then highlight and select Save.
If you disable the feature, PrimeTime Anytime will stop recording shows automatically.
(You can still set up event timers to record any individual shows you want, of course.) In
order to stop tonight's recordings, you must disable the feature at least 20 minutes before
the nightly prime-time interval begins (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT/MT Monday through
Saturday; and 7 p.m. ET/PT, 6 p.m. CT/MT Sunday).
Note that disabling the PrimeTime Anytime™ feature will not alter or instantly delete any
contents currently in the PrimeTime Anytime™ folder.
Accessing PrimeTime Anytime™ content
To view your PrimeTime Anytime™ shows, do any of the following:
Saving your PrimeTime Anytime™ content
The shows recorded in the PrimeTime Anytime™ folder expire in eight days, by default.
The oldest recording for each program is then deleted automatically, unless you highlight
and select the item in your folder and use the Save option for that individual recording.
AutoHop™ for PrimeTime Anytime™ content
DISH has created commercial-free TV so you can save an hour each night. You can
automatically skip commercials in primetime TV—on ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC in HD. In
order to take advantage of the AutoHop feature, first you must enable the PrimeTime
Anytime™ feature on the Hopper with Sling HD DVR, and then do the following:
1
The day after PrimeTime Anytime™ recordings occur, access the content in the Prime-
Time Anytime™ folder on your Hopper with Sling HD DVR.
2
Find content with the red "roo" logo in the upper-right corner of the recorded item's tile.
Each time you begin to watch applicable content, a pop-up screen will be displayed asking
if you want to enable the AutoHop™ feature. Highlight and select the option that you want.
Press the DVR button twice on your DISH remote control.
Press the DVR button, highlight the PrimeTime Anytime™ folder on the My
Recordings screen, and then press the SELECT button.
Highlight and select the PrimeTime Anytime™ tile on the Main Menu screen and then
select the PrimeTime Folder option.
