(Send Level)
This adjusts the volume level of the signal (0–127) sent
to the EFFECT bus. Set the initial value to "100."
(Send Pan)
This adjusts the stereo placement of the signal
(L63–0–R63) sent to the EFFECT bus. "L63" is fat left,
and "R63" is far right. Set the initial value to "0" (cen-
ter).
4. At this point, the effects are set up so that they will
be add to the sound. Press [PLAY (DISPLAY)].
Return to Play condition.
* You can insert EFX2–EFX4 in the same way.

Adjusting the Return Level
You can adjust the volume of the effect sound
(Return level) with the channel faders on the top
panel. Use the following procedure.
4-1. Press the input channel [EFFECT 1/3 RTN]
button.
The Effect Return screen appears in the display.
4-2. Press [F3 (EFX1)] or use [
and [
] to move the cursor to "EFX1Rtn."

(Return Level)
This sets the volume level (0–127) of the effects.
Set the initial value to "100." Use the channel
faders for this.
(Return Balance)
This adjusts the left-right balance (L63–0–R63) of
the effect. Set the initial value to "0" (center).
4-3. Press [FADER] so that the IN indicators
light.
At this time, the EFX1 return level can be adjust-
ed with the EFFECT1 fader. Similarly, the EFX2
return level can be adjusted with the EFFECT2
fader.
* When you wish to adjust the return levels of EFX3
and EFX4, hold down [SHIFT] and press the input
channel [EFFECT 1/3 RTN] or [EFFECT 2/4 RTN]
buttons. The SHIFT button indicator lights. Now,
the EFX3 return level can be adjusted with the
EFFECT1 fader, and the EFX4 return level can be
adjusted with the EFFECT2 fader.
