DRIVING:

owbar,
towing
Towing
(boat, caravan,
etc.)
Before setting off:
-
check the tyre pressures of the vehicle
and
the
trailer.
-
check the trailer
lights.
-
practise
manoeuvring,
especially
in
reverse.
- regularly grease the swivel
joint
of the
towbar, remove
it
when
the towing is finished.
• In
a
caravan,
distribute
the
load
inside
and
do
not
exceed
the
authorised
weight.
Always drive
at
a moderate
speed,
change
down
at
the
proper
time,
both when
driving
uphill
and
when
driving
downhill.
Pay
attention
to side
winds.
When
towing,
fuel consumption
increases.
Your braking distance
will
be increased. Brake progressively
and
gently.
Avoid
sudden
braking.
Do not exceed the towing capacity of your vehicle

Towbar
The towbar
must
be fitted
by
a
PEUGEOT
dealer.
Use
accessories
approved
by
Auto-
mobiles
PEUGEOT and follow
the manu-
facturer's
fitting
instructions.
