(EON mode)
EON
(Enhanced Other Networks) is an
RDS
service
which
groups programmes
(with
or
without
traffic
information)
in
a
common
network.
If you
are tuned to a station in this network
which
does
not broadcast
traffic information,
EON
allows
you to receive
this type
of
message from
another
station
in
the network.
Tuning the radio to any station
in
this network
is indicated by
"EON".
This service is only
available
when
the radio
is
in TA
mode.
While listening to a message
broadcast from
an
EON
station, the name
of
the
station
is
displayed.
