Incorrect code entered
A
low-pitched bleep
will
be
heard
if
a mistake
is made while entering the security
code.
To
confirm
this
error
"ERR
CODE"
is
displayed.
You
must
wait one minute before trying
again.
The waiting
period
is
doubled each
time
an
incorrect
code
is entered. This
waiting
period
is
limited
to approximately thirty-two
minutes.
Switching
off
the
system will
not cancel
the
waiting
time,
it
will
recommence
when the
system
is
switched
on
again.
When
the
waiting
period
has
elapsed
"CODE"
will
be displayed.
Re-enter
the security
code
following
the
procedure
in
the previous
paragraph.
Anti-theft indicator
A red
indicator
light
(24)
flashes
when
the
ignition
is
switched
off to indicate
that
the
coded anti-theft system
is
operational.
This
indicator
light
will
go
out
when the
igni-
tion
is
switched
on
or when
the
radio
is
switched
on.
Battery disconnection
If
the
electrical
supply
from
the battery to
the
system
is
cut
off,
"CODE"
will be
displayed
when
power
is
restored. Re-enter
the code.
