Adjusting
the
headlights
Adjusting the headlights
(from the
fascia)
Depending on the load
in your
vehicle,
adjust-
ing the beam
of
the headlights
is
recom-
mended
as
follows:
o
-
1
or
2 people
in
the
front
seats
1
-
4 people
2 -
4 people
+
maximum authorised
load.
3 -
Driver
+
maximum
authorised
load.
This
adjustment can
only be
carried
out when
the
lighting
control is
in
the dipped beam/main
beam
position.
Initial adjustment
position
O.
Changing bulbs
It
is
imperative
that your replacement
bulbs
correspond
to
the manufacturer's
specifica-
tions.
Front lights
1 - Sidelight
bulbs (W 5 W)
Detach
the plastic
protector
by pressing
the
tab
and
remove
it.
Remove the
lamp
holder and change the
bulb.
2 - Dipped beam headlight
bulbs (H7)
3 - Main beam headlight
bulbs (H7)
Detach the plastic
protector
by pressing
the tab and remove
it.
Disconnect the
connector.
Press the springs to
release the
bulb then
change
it.
On
refitting,
ensure
that
the
locating
notches
are
correctly
positioned.
Warning:
only touch the bulb with a dry
cloth.
4 - Direction
indicator
lights (PY21W)
To ease access on the left-hand
side,
it
is
recommended
that
the
protective battery
cover be removed.
Turn
the lamp holder cover a
quarter turn
and remove
it.
Change the
bulb.
