REMOVING THE STARTER CLUTCH

1. Remove:
S starter clutch cover 1
NOTE:
Loosen each bolt 1/4 of a turn at a time, in
stages and in a crisscross pattern. After all of
the bolts are fully loosened, remove them.
2. Remove:
S starter clutch bolt 1
NOTE:
S While holding the magneto rotor 2 with
the sheave holder 3 , remove the starter
clutch bolt.

3. Remove:
S starter clutch 1
(with the flywheel puller set 2 )

REMOVING THE AC MAGNETO

1. Remove:
S Bolt (AC magneto rotor) 1
S Washer
NOTE:
While holding the AC magneto rotor 2 with a
sheave holder 3 , loosen the AC magneto
rotor bolt 1 .
