DIAGNOSTICS
If a bad track causes a "bad drive" parameter to be exceeded, a
warning message is displayed and the editor returns to the main
menu. The bad track is then added to the bad track table. The
following information is used with the bad track table.
a. The cylinder/head numbers must be entered in decimal. If a
track is added by mistake, it can be deleted from the table
using option 3 [DELETE BAD TRACK(S) FROM TABLE].
b. To return to the editor menu, enter a carriage return in
response to either the cylinder

or head
#
prompt.
c. The keys PG UP and PG DN are used to scroll the Bad Track
Table.
d. The ESC key is used to exit from the add bad track option,
and the INS key inserts the bad track.
