If you press the
n
key followed by the ENTER key, the following
will be displayed:
ERROR - HARDWARE DOES NOT AGREE WITH CONFIGURATION TESTS
-) Record any difference(s) between the list of the Hardware
on the screen and the hardware that should be present.
PROGRAM TERMINATED!!!
A)
If the above error message is displayed, the System Test
Diagnostics can be used to add hardware to the list.
MENUC
The purpose of MENU C is to give you the option of testing all of
the installed hardware or specific modules.
MENU C looks like this:
1 - MAIN BOARD
3 - XXX KB MEMORY
(XXX
=
Total System RAM)
4 - 83 KEY KEYBOARD
5 - XXXX VIDEO SYSTEM
(XXXX = COLOR
or
MONOCHROME)
6 - 1 PARALLEL PORT(S)
7 - 1 SERIAL PORT(S) (USING 8250)
8 - X 48 TPI FLOPPY DISK DRIVE(S) (X-1 or 2)
9 - X HDU DRIVE AND CONTROLLER (X-10 or 20 MB)
To test all listed hardware, press the ENTER key only.
To test individual hardware functions, enter the desired test
number(s), with spaces between the numbers, and then press
the ENTER key.
