DIAGNOSTICS
At the end of the drive format, the program verifies the first
sector of the last three cylinders of the drive. If any of the three
sectors is verified without an error, the format is assumed to be
successful and the following message is displayed:
END LOW LEVEL FORMAT
DO YOU WANT TO EDIT THE BAD TRACK TABLE (Y
or
N)?
If any of the sectors contain an error, the drive format is repeated
and the verification check is redone. If the verification check still
fails, the following message is displayed:
LOW LEVEL FORMAT FAILED
PRESS "ENTER" KEY TO CONTINUE
and the program returns to the main menu.
If the Low-Level Format is successful, the following message
appears:
END LOW LEVEL FORMAT

or
