DIAGNOSTICS
Note: The MS-DOS formatted diskettes can be used for
testing. After testing, all test scratch diskettes must be
reformatted under MS-DOS to operate.
Insert a formatted diskette in the MFD Unit(s). After you have
inserted the formatted diskette(s) and pressed the ENTER key,
the tests start running in the automatic mode.
If you discover that the system hardware does not nlatch the
hardware list, press the
n
key followed by the ENTER key. The
following message will be displayed:
ERROR - HARDWARE DOES NOT AGREE WITH CONFIGURATION TESTS

on the screen end the hardware that ~hould be listed.
PROGRAM TERMINATED!!!

If the customer test does not list the correct hardware
configuration, proceed as follows:
1. Check DIP switches on Motherboard (see Appendix A).
2. Use system test to add a module to the configuration and then
test the module.
3. Call "Hot-Line" at 1-800-922-0354.
