For the functions: "FORMAT BAD TRACKS, VERIFY SURFACE,
and SHIP THE UNIT," the disk has to be already formatted; if
not, the following message will be displayed:
WARNING - DISK

1 OR 2 IS NOT LOW LEVEL FORMATTED
ABORT OPERATION
PRESS 'ENTER' KEY TO CONTINUE ­
The program returns to the Main Menu.
The HDU menu selections and their functions are as follows:
1 - HELP: Displays a help message for the user regarding the
utility.
2 - HDU CONFIGURATION: This selects the target drive and
informs the user of the configuration.
3 - LOW LEVEL FORMAT: Formats the selected HDU.
4 - DISPLAY AND EDIT THE BAD TRACK
TABLE: Displays and edits the bad track table and also marks
the bad sectors on HDU by a specific subitem.
5 - FORMAT BAD TRACKS: Formats the bad tracks saved on
the bad track table.
