The "DISPLAY AND EDIT BAD TRACK TABLE" selection has
the following menu:

BAD TRACK TABLE EDIT OPTIONS:
1 - FINISHED EDITING (PROCEED WITH FORMATTING)
2 - ADD BAD TRACK(S) TO TABLE
3 - DELETE BAD TRACK(S) FROM TABLE
4 - DISPLAY BAD TRACK TABLE
5 - ABORT FORMAT OPERATION
ENTER DESIRED ACTION ­
A description of each command follows:
1 - FINISHED EDITING (PROCEED WITH
FORMATTING): Causes the editor to be exited and the bad
tracks in the bad track table are physically formatted with the bad
track bit set in the ID field for all the sectors.
Before formatting the bad tracks saved on the BTT, a check is
made to see if the HDU has been selected and if it is LL
formatted. The following procedure is followed:
1. If the HDU has been selected and is LL formatted, the
following message appears:
WARNING - THIS OPERATION ERASES ALL FILES
•••• ) TYPE '1234' TO CONFIRM THE OPERATION SELECTED
•••• ) TYPE '0'
TO ABORT
THE OPERATION SELECTED
