INSTALLATIONS
2. To edit the CONFIG.SYS file, use EDLIN or any other
text editor that you prefer as follows:
a. Type the following line at the end of the CONFIG.SYS
file:
DEVICE=[d:] [path] dedriver.dev
where [d:] is the drive. In this case, drive C (which need
not be specified) and [path] is the name of the directory
where the DEDRIVER.DEV file resides. The system
will automatically create a CONFIG.SYS file if one
does not already exist.
b. Now reboot the system. (Press the RESET button at
the front of the computer or press the
[ClRL ], [ALl ],
and
[DEL]
keys simultaneously.)
c. A display of internal boot diagnostic messages will
appear. If they do not, turn to the section titled
"Troubleshooting the DEB Installation" before
adjusting the monitor.
