The E5GN can be provided with a communications function that allows
you to check and set controller parameters on a host computer. If the com
munications function is required, use the model supporting the commu
nications function E5GN j03j. For details on the communications func
tion, see the separate Communications Functions User's Manual."
Follow the procedure below to move to the communication setting level.
(1) Press the key for at least three seconds in the operation level".
The level moves to the initial setting level".
(2) Press the key for less than one second. The initial setting level"
moves to the communications setting level".
(3) Pressing the key advances the parameters as shown in the follow
ing figure.

Set the E5GN communications specifications so that they match the com
munications setup of the host computer. In the case of a one to N connec
tion, match the communications setup of all units.
