Web Updates:
When enabled, allows updating of the NX-595E Configuration
Server's web pages via FTP. Normally disabled.
Ping:
The "ping" command is always functional whilst the NX-595E is in program
mode and is defaulted to NOT operate whilst the NX-595E is in the normal run
mode. Enable this option to allow the NX-595E to respond to "ping" commands in
normal operation. For security reasons it is recommended this option remain
disabled during normal operation.
Web Time Updates:
compare it against GMT time. This is done every 15min and will update itself if
the variance is greater than 3 minutes.
NetworX Protocols:
5min after power up. Allows devices such as iPhones and UHS devices to
communicate with the NX-595E via NetworX protocols.
xConnect:
This enables the app and automatic email configuration. Can only be
disabled from a keypad.
IP Address:
An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a numerical label that is
assigned to devices participating in a computer network. If DHCP is enabled and
supported by your network, the NX-595E IP address will be automatically
assigned, otherwise you will be required to enter your unique IP address here.
Subnet Mask:
Allows a network to be divided into subnets, and allows the flow
of network traffic between hosts to be segregated based on a network
configuration. Applying the subnet mask to an IP address splits the address into
two parts, an "extended network address" and a host address. A typical subnet
mask is 255.255.255.0
Primary DNS:
IP address of the primary DNS server. DNS (Domain Name
System) allows dedicated servers on the internet to be assign both an IP address
and a corresponding name, called a domain name.
Secondary DNS:
IP address of the secondary DNS server. DNS (Domain Name
System) allows dedicated servers on the internet to be assign both an IP address
and a corresponding name, called a domain name.
SSL Port:
Selectable port configuration, a default port is 443.
Web Access Passcode:
595E, it does not affect the operation of other features.
xConnect Server 1:
remote web access, iPhone app and email services without having to set up port
forwarding.
