Removing the
microcomputer board
Prior to performing the following procedure, remove
the metal cover, the DVD mechanism assembly, the
front panel assembly, the rear cover/ rear panel, the
main board and the DVD relay board.
REFERENCE: It is not necessary to remove the DVD
mechanism assembly.
1. Disconnect the wire from connector CN701 on the
microcomputer board in the center of the right side of
the body.
2. Remove the two screws S attaching the MD base
chassis on top of the body.
3. Disconnect connector CN706 and CN707 on the
microcomputer board from the main board.
REFERENCE: The MD base chassis with the MD
mechanism assembly comes off.
4. Remove the two
microcomputer board and release the two joints f.
