CAUTION
Step 6. Use the special processor tool shipped with your replacement processor module to lock the
processor module in place on the system board. To do this, insert the special processor tool through
the turbo fan blades into the ZIF socket. Rotate the tool clockwise 180 degrees. See Figure 4-35 for
more information.

Step 7. Slide the sequencing retainer plate toward the rear of the server. See Figure 4-36.

Do not press the processor module into the socket. When properly aligned, the
processor pins seat into the ZIF socket, no additional pressure is required.
