Problem
XYZ speed interlock is
ON, but the sensitivity of
vertical stage movement
does not switch
corresponding to the
objective.
Vertical movement is
displayed as
"+13000.000um to
-2000.000um".
Motorized nosepiece
Problem
Motorized nosepiece
does not move at all.
Objectives cannot be
switched smoothly.
The motorized nosepiece
skips addresses.
The stage does not retract
when it should when the
objective is being switched
(or retracts when it should
not).
Motorized universal condenser
Problem
The motorized universal
condenser's turret and
aperture diaphragm do
not move at all.
The center of the optical
module is not aligned
with the optical axis.
The motorized universal
condenser's turret does
not interlock when the
objective is switched.
Chapter 2
Cause
Information for objectives is not
configured.
(If the objective information is not
configured, the sensitivity of vertical stage
movement is not changed.)
The stage vertical movement part is not
attached correctly.
Cause
The motorized nosepiece is attached
incorrectly.
A function to restrict the nosepiece rotation
stop by vertical movement position is set.
Objectives are mounted on rather one side
of the nosepiece.
The rotation stop function from address 1 to
6 (7) is set.
The toggle function is ON.
Incorrect escape setting
Cause
The motorized universal condenser is
attached incorrectly.
Control error. Or, the turret was moved by
hand while the power is ON.
The interlock setting is OFF.
Troubleshooting
Configure the objective information.

Attach it correctly.

Attach it correctly.

Turn off rotation stop or rotate after changing
the vertical movement position.

Attach objective evenly.
Turn off rotation stop.

Turn the toggle function OFF.
