Explanation
Status
UV2 (Control power
supply fault)
Voltage fault of control
power supply is detected.
OH (Cooling fin overheat)
Temperature rise
because of inverter
overload operation or
intake air temperature
rise.
OL1 (Motor overload)
Protective
Motor overload
Operation
protection operates by
Output is
built-in electronic thermal
overload relay.
shut OFF
and motor
coasts to
a stop.
OL2 (Inverter overload)
Inverter overload
protection operates by
built-in electronic thermal
overload relay.
OL3 (Overtorque detection)
V/f mode: Inverter output
current exceeded the
preset value in constant
n098.
Vector mode: Motor
current or torque
exceeded the preset
value in constants
n097 and n098.
When overtorque is
detected, inverter performs
operation according to the
preset setting of constant
n096.
Causes and
Corrective Actions
Cycle power.
If the fault remains,
replace the inverter.
• Excessive load
• Improper V/f pattern
setting
• Insufficient accel time
if the fault occurs
during acceleration
• Intake air temperature
exceeding 50:(122<)
• Cooling fan stops
Check the following :
• Load size
• V/f pattern setting
(constants n011 to n017)
• Intake air temperature.
• Check the load size or
V/f pattern setting
(constants n011 to n017)
• Set the motor rated
current shown on the
nameplate by constant
n036.
• Check the load size or
V/f pattern setting
(constants n011 to n017)
• Check the inverter
capacity.
Check the driven
machine and correct the
cause of the fault, or
increase the value of
constant n098 up to the
highest value allowed for
the machine.
