Remarks
PCL only. String length is 20.
The factory default is 20 "F"
characters.
Valid characters are:
"0123456789ABCDEFabcdef"; not
case sensitive when setting but the
capital character will change to
lower case when reading.
If this setting is changed, the
printer power must be turned
off/on for the new setting to take
effect.
A valid string length is 0 or 20.
String lengths of 1 – 19 will cause
the setting to be invalid. But SOM
will not create an error message
when the string length is in the
range of 1 – 19. The invalid string
can be saved at the printer side.
PCL only. String of maximum
length 32.
The factory default string is
"PublicWritter."
If this setting is changed, the

effect.
