Parts and Their Functions

This section provides you with the names and functions of all the parts on the
outside and inside of the main unit, control panel, and the touch panel display. An
illustration of the machine with some optional equipment attached to it is also
provided. For more information on optional equipment, parts and their functions,
see Chapter 3, "Optional Equipment."
External View
The optional Saddle Finisher-T2 and Puncher Unit-M1 are attached.

a Feeder
Originals placed in the feeder are automatically
fed sheet by sheet to the platen glass for
scanning. The feeder also automatically turns
over two-sided originals to make one or two
sided copies. (See "Feeder Parts and
Functions," on p. 1-16.)
