B. Aft Shower
The aft shower is available on certain SL models. De-
pending on the model, the shower unit is typically located
at or near the transom, on either the port or starboard
side. See Figure J5. The fresh water supply system can
be used for showering or washdown purposes at the
transom. The switch to operate the fresh water system
is locat ed on the battery switch panel and is marked
"FRESH WATER". See Figure J2.

The fresh water pump supplies water to the aft shower
and if equipped the cockpit faucet. The pump is gener-
ally located in the vicinity of the fresh water tank.
To operate the shower:
Place the "FRESH WATER" switch "ON", push the
spray nozzle button to purge any air that may be in the
system. When a steady flow of water is coming from

the shower nozzle the air has been purged. Release
the spray nozzle when finished. As the pressure
builds, the pump will automatically shut off at 35 psi.
When properly primed and activated, the pressurized
water system can be used in the same manner as
the water system in a home. An automatic pressure
sensor in the water pump keeps the system pressur-
ized. Sim ply operate the spray nozzle and water will
be delivered. If the system has been recently filled, or
has not been used for an extended period of time, air
bubbles may accumulate at the pump. If this should
happen, re-priming may be necessary.

WASTE SYSTEMS
A.
Enclosed Head
A fully enclosed fiberglass head is available on certain
SL models. If equipped, the head is integrated into the
port console. These roomy heads offer an expandable
hatch (for extra head room), smoked acrylic skylight,
storage cabinet, fiberglass liner, porta-potti, and over-
head lighting. Note: Models may vary. See Figure J6.
Refer to the manufacturer's literature included in the
owner's packet regarding the use, care and mainte-
nance of the porta-potti.
