Never approach or use ladder when the motor
is running. Severe injury or death will result
from contact with rotating propeller.
Shut off motor when near swimmers. Severe
injury or death will result from contact with rotat-
ing propeller.
To prevent personal injury, swim platform and
transom entry area must not be occupied while
engine(s) are running and/or boat is underway.
NOTICE
Al ways se cure the ladder before boating.

M - 4 SWIM PLATFORM - FORWARD
The bow is elongated and serves as a second plat-
form for boarding the boat or securing the anchor. A
swim platform mat is also available. See Figure M10.

Exterior Equipment - Section M
M - 5 DOCKING LIGHTS
Certain SL models are available with docking lights. If
equipped with these lights, docking your boat becomes
easier during periods of reduced visibility. The docking
lights may be activated at the helm using the designated
switch. See Figure M11.

M - 6 THRU-HULL EXHAUST
Available on certain SL series models is a thru-hull
exhaust system. With a flick of the helm mounted con-
trol switch the exhaust system changes from standard
operation to a full throaty rumble. Another flick of the
switch returns the exhaust system back to standard
exhaust. See Figure M13. For inquiries regarding the
thru-hull exhaust, please contact your Four Winns
dealer.
