Configuration

Use the
Configuration
alarms, users, transactions and other parameters such as upgrading the firmware. See
Figure 3 on page 9 for descriptions of the configuration folders available.

Description
Specifies the network protocol used.
Options include: TCP, UDP, MULTICAST and HTTP.
TCP: Ensures complete delivery of streaming data and better
video quality, yet the real-time transmission will be affected.
UDP: Provides real-time audio and video streams.
HTTP: Allows the same quality as of TCP without setting
specific ports for streaming under some network environments.
MULTICAST: It's recommended to select MCAST type when
using the Multicast function.
Specifies the transmission speed.
Options include: Real Time, Balanced or Fluency.
Enable this option to detect real-time alarm such as motion
detection. The area which detected the alarm will be
highlighted as green.
Specifies the snapshot format as JPEG or BMP.
Specifies the maximum file size.
Options include: 256 MB, 512 MB, and 1G.
Specifies the directory for recorded files.
Specifies the directory for downloaded files.
Specifies the directory for saving snapshots in live view mode.
Specifies the directory for saving snapshots in playback mode.
Specifies the directory for saving video clips in playback mode.
