Troubleshooting

The power does not turn on
Cause
If the monitor is being powered by
the batteries, the batteries are not
installed or depleted.
The AC adapter is disconnected.
If the power does not turn on and the above is not the cause, turn off the
monitor power, disconnect the AC adapter, remove the batteries, and
contact your local OMRON representative.
The monitor display does not operate
Cause / solution
Stop using the monitor and contact your local OMRON representative.
The monitor becomes hot
Cause
An object is on top of the monitor or
right next to the monitor.
If the monitor becomes too hot to be touched, there may be a problem
in the monitor. Turn off the monitor power, disconnect the AC adapter,
remove the batteries, and contact your local OMRON representative.
The cuff does not in ate when the [START/STOP] button is pressed
Cause
Loose cuff tube connection.
There is an air leak in the cuff.
If pressure is displayed, the cuff
tube is bent.

Solution
Insert batteries or replace with new
batteries (page 13).
Connect the AC adapter (page 13).
Solution
Keep the area around the monitor
free of objects.
Solution
Check the connection.
Replace the cuff.
Make sure no part of the cuff tube
is bent.
