Menu Key Summary Table

These keys display the next or previous menu item, or move the cursor
left or right.
Press [ e] to display the next item in the menu. If you press [ e] when the
last item is displayed, the display rotates to the first item on the menu.
Press [4 ] to display the previous item in the menu. If you press [4 ] when
the first item is displayed, the display rotates to the last item on the menu.
Set Press [Set] to select the current item and display the next level of the
menu.
A
Switches between the entry modes.
:A Text entry mode. Enables you to enter letters.
:1 Number entry mode. Enables you to enter numbers.
[2] to [9] More than one letter is assigned to a key. Press [A] to enter the text entry
mode, then press the key for the letter you want to enter. If the letter you
want to enter is not displayed first, press the key continuously until it
appears. If the next letter is under a different key, press that key to display
the first letter of the group, and press the key continuously until the letter
you want appears.
If the next letter is under the same key, press [ e] to move the cursor to the
right one space, then press the key again to display the first letter of the
group. Press the key continuously until the letter you want appears.
# Press [#] to enter a symbol. You can enter symbols in the text entry mode
only. Press [#] continuously until the symbol you want is displayed. You can
enter these symbols:

Space* Enters a space between letters or numbers. You may enter spaces in
telephone numbers—they do not affect dialing. Pressing [Space] also
deletes the character at the cursor position.
Delete* Deletes the letter or number at the cursor position.
Clear* Clears the entire entry if you want to erase it and start again.
Stop/Reset After you are finished making settings or registering information, press
[Stop/Reset] to return the machine to the Standby mode.
*[Function] must be lit for you to use these keys.
