MEM IN USE nn %
Cause
Shows the percentage of memory currently in use.
Remedy
Wait for the machine to send any faxes in memory. Also, print or delete any documents
in memory you no longer need. (See "Printing a Document in Memory," on p. 5-9, and
"Deleting a Document from Memory," on p. 5-10.)
MEMORY FULL
Cause
Memory becomes full during document scanning.
Remedy 1
Divide the document into parts or select a lower fax resolution.
Remedy 2
If you need more space, wait for the machine to send any faxes. Also, print or delete
any documents in memory you no longer need. (See "Printing a Document in Memory,"
on p. 5-9, and "Deleting a Document from Memory," on p. 5-10.)
If the machine's memory becomes full while scanning documents using the ADF, the
document being scanned stops in the ADF. Press [Set] to release the document
automatically.
NO TEL #
Cause
The one-touch speed dialing key or speed dialing code you entered has not been
registered.
Remedy
Register the one-touch speed dialing key or speed dialing code. (See "One-Touch
Speed Dialing," on p. 2-3, or "Coded Speed Dialing," on p. 2-8.)
RECEIVED IN MEMORY
Cause
The machine received the fax in memory because paper or toner ran out, or a paper
jam occurred.
Remedy
Load paper in the paper drawer, replace the toner cartridge, or clear the paper jam.
TX/RX NO. nnnn
Cause
When the machine sends or receives a fax, it assigns a unique identification number
(nnnn). The identification number (nnnn) does not appear in the standby display. It
appears when scanning documents, pressing [Fax Monitor] or [Memory Reference], or
receiving faxes in the Manual mode or memory.
Remedy
Write the number down for future reference.
