After finishing the installation, make sure that the icon for the installed printer is displayed in the
"Printers" window or "Devices and Printers" window.

Remove the DVD-ROM from the DVD-ROM drive.
This completes the printer driver installation.
Once the settings for the printer have been configured, you can use the printer in the same way as a general
local printer.

For network connection (Web service print)

In Windows Vista/7/Server 2008/Server 2008 R2, printers supporting the Web service print function on the
network can be located and installed.
Reference
- In Windows 7/Server 2008 R2, the installation disk cannot be specified after the connection has been
established. Install the printer driver according to the installation procedure described in the following
section in advance.
- In Windows Vista/Server 2008, although the printer driver is not installed in advance, the printer driver
installation disk can be specified and the printer driver can be installed. (page 4-10).

To install a different printer driver in the computer where one has already been installed, you must uninstall
the currently installed one along with its package. For details, refer to page 7-3.
