Use the IP Phone with the IP Softphone
m6350
The Call Services menu gives the IP Phone access to Centrex features; the
softkeys in the display provide an alternative to the dedicated feature keys
on an IP Phone 2004. Any changes the user makes to the 1110 feature key
assignments, through the feature menu, apply only when the user is logged
onto a terminal with dedicated feature keys.
Nortel recommends that users run the IP Softphone m6350 and the 1110
together for easier feature activation. When in a joint session, the audio is
always sent to the physical terminal; therefore, the IP Softphone m6350
could be used for feature key activation only, if required.
Contact your system administrator for more information about how to set up
a joint session between your IP Phone and an IP Softphone m6350.
