Searching for users

Use the Srch menu to access the search function, which you can use to find other
users.
To access the Srch menu, tap the Srch soft key on the idle display.
1. Use the Up/Down navigation keys to scroll and
select one of the following:
1. User Name
2. Name
3. Last Name
4. First Name,
5. Phone Number
Note: The choice you make in this step
determines the parameters used to search. For
example, select 3. Last Name to search based on
user last name.
2. Tap the Select soft key.
A prompt appears, instructing you to enter the
user name, name, first name, last name, or
telephone number, depending on your choice in
the previous step.
3. Use the dialpad to enter the string you want to
search for.
4. Tap the Ok soft key to search. One of the
Ok
following occurs:
• If the search is unsuccessful, you can tap Srch
to try another search, or Cancel to return to the
idle display.
• If the search is successful, a list of names
appears.
