1. Press the Up/Down navigation keys to scroll and
select Alpha Dialing: ON.
2. Tap the Change soft key.
The following prompt appears:
alphanumeric dialing on / off?
3. Perform one of the following:
• Tap the Change soft key to turn Alpha Dialing
on or off.
• Tap the Cancel soft key to discard changes and
return to the Config menu.

IM Display: ON
2. Tap the Change soft key.
The following prompt appears:
Message display for device is ON. Turn it
OFF?
3. Perform one of the following:
• Tap the Change soft key to turn Instant
Message Display on or off.
• Tap the Cancel soft key to discard changes and
return to the Config menu.
