Symptom

Possible Cause
Battery pack not fully charged. Charge the battery pack, either

Terminal being used in low-
temperature conditions.
Unnecessary peripherals
draining power.
The application is not designed
for efficient power use.
SRAM card is corrupt; the card
format changed or was
corrupted.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Action

Replace with a fresh, fully
charged battery pack.
Battery life is shortened if used
in extremely cold conditions.
Disconnect any peripherals not
used to reduce the drain on the
battery pack.
Consider using power
management services provided
in Series 7000 SDK to reduce
drain on battery pack.
Use SRAMINIT utility,
discussed in Chapter 9 to re-
initialize the card.
