Replacing Consumables

This section explains how to replace the remote control batteries, lamp, and
air filter.

Replacing the Remote Control Batteries

If the remote control becomes unresponsive or inoperable after it has been
used for some time, the batteries may have reached the end of their service
life. When this happens, replace them with new batteries. Obtain two AA
size manganese or alkaline batteries. Batteries other than AA size
manganese or alkaline batteries cannot be used.
Attention
Make sure you read the separate Safety Instructions before handling the

Procedure
A
Remove the battery cover.
While pushing the battery cover catch, lift the cover up.

Replace the old batteries with new batteries.
Caution
Check the positions of the (+) and (-) marks inside the battery holder to ensure
the batteries are inserted correctly.
C
Reattach the battery cover.
Press the battery cover until it clicks into place.
