This section describes the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) feature.
Overview
SNTP:
•
Used for synchronizing network resources
•
Adaptation of NTP
•
Provides synchronized network timestamp
•
Can be used in broadcast or unicast mode
•
SNTP client implemented over UDP which listens on port 123
