6.5 How to Read Communications Error Information
Overrun error
The receive buffer overflowed.
Check the communications condition. If the communications condition of
the host computer and E5CK controller match, then a probable cause is
a problem in the communications circuit of one or both of the host com-
puter and E5CK controller.
FCS error
The FCS (Frame Check Sequence) do not match.
Check the FCS program.
Format error
The received command length does not match the length defined in the
frame format.
Check the communications condition. If the communications condition of
the host computer and E5CK controller match, then a probable cause is
a problem in the communications circuit of one or both of the host com-
puter and E5CK controller.
Setting range error
Numerical values or code values in the data are not within the setting
range.
Check the parameter and read or write data of special commands.
