INSTALLING SERVERS ON THE LOCAL
NETWORK
Installing servers on the local network or using certain Peer-to-Peer software programs
requires an additional configuration of your modem/router.
This configuration must be carried out once for each server or computer which uses a
Peer-to-Peer software program. To do that, the connection with your Internet Service
Provider must be set up (meaning that you are able to surf).
Configuring the modem/router in order to be able to use

servers on the local network
• Click on LAN Servers in the
Basic menu.
The screen opposite will be
displayed.
• Click on Add.
The screen opposite will be
displayed:
• Indicate the name of your
server in the Server Name field
(e.g. MyServerHTTP).
• Set Access Activated to Yes.
• Indicate the protocol and port
being used by your server.
Refer to the table below for
further information.
• Indicate your server's local IP address.
• Click on Apply.
• Save by clicking on Save button.
You can now access your server from the Internet.
