Changing the base unit PIN (Personal
Identification Number)
For security, the base unit PIN must be entered
when changing certain settings. The default PIN
is "0000".
Wichtig:
L If you change the PIN, please make note of
your new PIN. The unit will not reveal the PIN
to you. If you forget your PIN, consult your
nearest Panasonic service centre.

Press {j/OK}.

Select "Basis-Einstell.", then press
{>}.

Enter "0000" (default base unit PIN).
L If you changed the PIN, enter it.

Select "Andere Optionen", then press
{>}.

Select "Basiseinh. PIN", then press {>}.

Enter the new 4-digit base unit PIN, then
press {j/OK}.

Press {ih}.
Resetting the base unit to its default
settings

Press {j/OK}.

Select "Basis-Einstell.", then press
{>}.

Enter "0000" (default base unit PIN).
L If you changed the PIN, enter it (Seite 29).

Select "Basis Zurückst.", then press

Select the desired country, then press {>}.

Select "Ja", then press {>}.

Hinweis:
L The following items will be deleted or reset to
their default settings:
– Settings listed on Seite 25, 38, 46
– All SMS messages
Base Unit Settings
– Private mailbox settings for SMS
– Caller list
L The following items will be retained:
– Date and time
– Shared phonebook entries
– Repeater mode
– Recordings, including your greeting
message, caller messages, voice memos,
audible call announcements, and recorded
conversations
L If you select "Österreich" as the country in
step 6, the following default settings will be
changed for Austria:
– Message centre 1 and 2 (Seite 38)
– Recall time (Seite 25)
– Emergency number (Seite 25)
L After resetting the base unit, you will not be
able to make or receive calls for a few
moments.
